Industrial Plant Maintenance and Repair
We take on the mechanical maintenance and repair of industrial plants in full, shortening the time to return to production during planned shutdowns.
Our industrial maintenance and repair scope covers mechanical equipment overhaul, repair of worn steelwork and crane runway beam renewal. On planned shutdowns the critical path is mapped in advance; on breakdowns a site crew is despatched.

We take on the mechanical maintenance and repair of industrial plants in full. During planned shutdowns we plan the critical-path work in advance, with the aim of shortening the time it takes the plant to return to production.
Site experience carried over from earlier projects allows us to combine a sound technical solution, a predictable schedule and a competitive cost at the same time.

- Site welding and coordination of non-destructive testing
Industrial maintenance and repair: why a planned shutdown is set up in advance
In an industrial plant the cost of downtime is usually greater than the cost of the work itself. That is why a maintenance plan begins not with the work but with mapping the critical path: which task waits on which, when each item of equipment comes offline, which parts can be prepared for site beforehand.
Fabricating replacements for the parts to be removed in the workshop before the shutdown shortens site time markedly. This approach makes it possible to fix the plant's return-to-production date at the very start of the programme.
Renewal of worn steelwork
In industrial structures that have been in service for a long time, corrosion, fatigue cracking and impact damage are the problems most often encountered. Crane runway beams, conveyor bridges, platforms and stair systems are the areas where such damage concentrates.
The repair decision is taken after measurement and inspection: whether local strengthening, piece replacement or complete renewal is required is determined by the remaining service life and the load condition of the structure.
Site welding and non-destructive testing
Site welding is carried out under conditions different from workshop welding: positional constraints, wind, humidity and temperature all bear directly on weld quality. Separate procedures and preheat requirements are therefore defined for site welds.
On critical connections, radiographic, ultrasonic, penetrant or magnetic particle testing is applied alongside visual examination. The extent of testing is set by the load-bearing importance of the connection and the execution class of the structure.
Safety is inseparable from shutdown work
Maintenance work carries the risks of hot work, confined space entry and working at height all at once. A risk assessment is made before every task, a hot work permit is obtained and a fire watch is assigned.
Our employees and the crews entering the plant are given the training required against the hazards that may arise within the scope of the activity. No preventive measure is avoided.

Frequently Asked Questions on Plant Maintenance and Repair
Yes. Alongside planned shutdowns we also despatch site crews for unexpected breakdowns. Response time varies with the location of the plant and the scope of the work; you can contact our technical team directly for an initial assessment.
Yes. We take on mechanical maintenance and repair work in full: dismantling, transport to the workshop, repair, reassembly and commissioning are all carried out under one contract.
Inspections are carried out in coordination with accredited inspection bodies. The reports are handed over in the fabrication file, so that a traceable record of the work remains.
