The steel load-bearing system of the Antalya Expo Centre, one of Türkiye's foremost international event venues, has been completed with 1,710 tonnes of structural steel.
The fabrication and erection of the primary frames, roof steelwork and secondary steel members on the Antalya Expo Centre project have been completed. A total of 1,710 tonnes of structural steel was used.
Wide spans, one solution
What is decisive in exhibition buildings is the span that can be crossed without columns. For exhibition areas to be laid out flexibly, the load-bearing system has to come down to ground at as few points as possible.
The roof steelwork was therefore fabricated in accordance with international engineering standards so as to span wide openings safely and deliver high load capacity.
A building preparing for COP31
The venue was designed to host international fairs, congresses and events, foremost among them the COP31 United Nations Climate Change Conference to be held in 2026.
The 502-tonne steelwork of the Green Zone section created on the same site was also fabricated and erected by us.
How the work proceeded
The entire project was planned on the basis of advanced 3D modelling, detail engineering and structural analysis. Fabrication and site erection were carried out within our quality management system.
High-precision equipment and experienced site crews delivered structural safety and schedule compliance together.
