About the Project
One of the landmark sports structures in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, the King Abdullah Stadium project was realised with Sinay Çelik's expertise in steel fabrication and erection. Notable for its contemporary architectural design, the stadium was built to international quality and engineering standards and added value to the region's sports and event capacity.
The stadium's load-bearing frames and roof steelwork were fabricated using a total of 1,350 tonnes of steel. The steel members were designed in accordance with the engineering calculations required by wide spans and high load resistance.
The project was designed using 3D modelling and structural analysis software in line with international engineering standards. High-precision equipment was used throughout erection, keeping structural integrity and safety to the fore.
